Nigella Lawson Recipes

Banana Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

100 grams baby marrows
75 ml Amaretto liqueur
175 grams plain flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
teaspoon salt
125 grams Stork margarine
150 grams white sugar
2 medium eggs
3 large bananas
20 grams mini marshmallows
20 grams desiccated coconut
20 grams dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Use same method as Nigella suggests but just substitute the ingredients. Tastes sweeter and gives a good texture. Keep oven at 140 degrees for fan oven. Speeds up baking time by 15 mins.

I use this recipe practically every week for Mother and Toddler Groups. It's filling but not in a sickly way, more healthy with the bananas and raisins. I have 3 boys and they love it after school when they are starving to fill that gap before dinner time. A great way of using up bananas and other odds and ends that need finishing in the baking cupboard.

charles saatchi said it was a playfull tiff

somehow i dont think nigella thought so or why did she leave crying from the restaurant

and end up taking both children from their home staying away from charles.

who is charles saatchi ?

Charles saatchi is a british businessman who is the co founder of saatchi and saatchi with his brother maurice
the company was the worlds largest advertising agency in the 1980's.

both brothers were forced out and later founded M&C Saatchi in 1995

he has his own gallery which includes pieces by artists like
Donald Judd
Sol LeWitt,
Anselm Kiefer
Andy Warhols
Julian Schnabel.

He married Nigella Lawson, his 3rd wife in 2003
